Welcome to the Four Seasons Orchestra. This community orchestra was formed in 2002 and is composed of musicians of all ages (representing all four seasons of life) from across the Annapolis Valley and beyond.

About the Group
Four Seasons Orchestra has a tradition as a teaching orchestra. We have been fortunate to have many distinguished guest musicians join us at various performances. Former members who were emerging artists and students have enjoyed successes as professional musicians.
We play a variety of music - works from the Baroque or early classical eras (such as Bach, Haydn, Beethoven) to Broadway, movie, and television themes, as well as works by contemporary composers.
Roger F Taylor, Conductor
Roger is a composer, arranger, music director and music educator. As an active composer and arranger, Roger has had his compositions and arrangements played in Canada, Europe and Australia, including recent performances by Nova Sinfonia, the Acadia Orchestra, and, of course, the Four Seasons Orchestra. He has founded many music groups, including choirs, small ensembles, concert band and orchestras.
Roger has received many awards for his work promoting music and the arts, including those from Mud Creek Rotary, the Nova Scotia Department of Education, the Town of Windsor. He has also received the Queen Elizabeth II Medal, the Rotary Foundation's Paul Harris Fellowship, and was honoured as an ATV's Maritimer of the Week.
As an educator, Roger has taught music at all levels from Montessori education to senior high school and university. Roger is also music director at a church in Bedford, where several of his choral compositions have been featured.
Rehearsals
Saturday Mornings
The Four Seasons Orchestra rehearses Saturday mornings from September to June, with performances in the winter and in the spring.
